| We are probably the smallest manufacture of small observatories but with possibly the best reputation. These Domes are designed for astronomers to accommodate all astronomical needs equipment ready for immediate use for observing including remote observing The Dome rotates smoothly on a unique system of nylon wheels allowing either manual or motor driven dome rotation. The electrical shutter can be operated by a 12V battery Other advantages are that these Domes enhance your viewing pleasure by eliminating unwanted obtrusive light, provide the best protection from those windy/cold nights, secure and protect your valuable astronomical equipment and create the perfect ambiance and space for you to share the experience with up to 15 guests. | These observatories come in three sizes with varying configurations. Plus larger sizes are also available. Plus the kit model designed for the worldwide market, providing fantastic market opportunities in sales to end users. Other variations, such as size (smaller) will cover the full spectrum with in the observatory market. An exciting new development is our new Remote View service enabling armchair astronomers, researchers, schools and institutions to use their own installation. Viewing from these installations is enabled using state of the art technology including CCD cameras and a total computer based control package for monitoring their observatories. Astronomy is available to whoever logs in on their laptop or class room computer via the World Wide Web. Oxford University for four of our observatories located in South Africa, India, Sydney and Chile with possibly other sites to come. All sites are using this technology, as part of a highly specialized project and to encourage female students into the sciences. Thus establish our own Dark Sky site in Australia, and or else where, far removed from the light polluted cities of the world. We will care-take each observatory installed at the site, as well as sell time from our own observatory facility. Installed in Australia, astronomers, amateurs, students or enthusiasts worldwide can view the heavens through their computer. Initial expressions of interest are very strong, indicating that the remote viewing packages will present an exciting growth area. We have found that many observatories have been set up at expense beyond necessity due to lack of understanding. This is where we can offer the full package of a turn key facility. This for the wealthy arm chair astronomer in the light polluted finical capitals of the world. Another area of which interest has been expressed is for Planetariums. We have designed and have a lot of the tooling for a small Planetarium. This in its self has great potential just waiting promotion. |
